Their concerts fill arenas, (almost) everyone recognizes their faces, and all three have performed at the Berlin Olympic Stadium: We\u2019re talking about Bruce Springsteen, Bono of U2, and Udo <\/strong>Lindenberg. Together, their portraits are part of an exhibition presented by the CAMERA WORK Gallery in the Hall of Honor at the Olympic Stadium. From July 27 through August 9, the <\/strong>works from world-renowned photographer Martin Schoeller\u2019s \u201cClose Up\u201d series will be on display in this extraordinary setting. In addition to the three musicians mentioned, the exhibition also features photographs of Taylor Swift, soccer players Lionel Messi, Pel\u00e9, and Zin\u00e9dine Zidane, as well as actors Julia Roberts and Denzel Washington, among others. <\/strong><\/p>\n Media representatives are cordially invited to attend the opening of the Art Presentation: Thursday, July 23, at 11:00 a.m., in the Hall of Honor at the Olympic Stadium <\/strong>in Berlin.<\/strong> Be sure to register by email at tr@unikat-pr.com if you\u2019d like to attend the opening.<\/strong><\/p>\n Martin Schoeller is one of the world\u2019s most renowned portrait photographers. His \u201cClose-Up\u201d series began more than 25 years ago and consistently employs the same technical conditions. This brings the subject to the forefront and results in highly authentic works. Born in Munich, he studied photography at the Lette Verein in Berlin and moved to New York in the mid-1990s. His work has been published in \u201cTime,\u201d \u201cThe New Yorker,\u201d and \u201cNational Geographic,\u201d among others. \u201cWe All Bleed Red\u201d is a documentary film that celebrated its world premiere in 2024. Documentary filmmaker Josephine Links accompanied her stepbrother Martin Schoeller during his private photo shoots and shows how the photographer creates very personal spaces for connection with his subjects. The film will be shown on August 2 and 9 at 2:00 p.m. in the Ehrenhalle.
